Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can you get someone out for a plumbing problem?+
Often same day, especially if you call in the morning. An active leak is an emergency, so say so when you call and we'll treat it like one. We answer 24/7, so you don't need to wait until Monday to reach out.
I have a leak but I can't find where it's coming from. Can you help?+
Yes. That is most of what leak repair is. We trace it from where the water shows up back to the source, which is usually a supply line, a shutoff valve, a worn seal, or a drain connection above it. Once we find it, we quote the fix before touching anything.
Should I try a drain cleaner from the store first?+
We'd rather you didn't. Chemical drain cleaners rarely clear a real clog, and they can eat at older pipes and make things worse for whoever opens the drain next. A plunger is fine to try. If that doesn't do it, call us and we'll clear it properly and tell you what was in there.
Should I repair or replace an old faucet or toilet?+
Depends on the age of the fixture and what failed. A cartridge, a flapper, or a fill valve is a cheap fix on something that has years left. If the fixture is old enough that you'd be putting real money into it, we'll say so, and you can decide. We'll give you the honest read either way.
Do you repair water heaters too?+
Yes, tank and tankless, repair and replacement. Water heaters have their own page on this site, under Plumbing in the menu, with the details.
What if the same drain keeps clogging?+
Repeat clogs usually mean the problem is further down the line than a simple clearing can reach, often in the main plumbing line. We don't work on main plumbing lines, so we'll tell you what we found and refer you to one of our trusted plumbing partners.
